Protocol in 3 easy steps
1. Capsule staining (Trypan Blue)
The anterior lens capsule is stained with a special type of micronized trypan blue (CAPSULblue), which absorbs laser energy (532nm) and ensures complete control and safety.
2. Centering (Purkinje reflex)
Centering is achieved quickly and easily, as the patient fixates their gaze on the laser's light guide (using the Purkinje reflex), or if necessary, the eye is stabilized with a fixation ring (Fixation Ring).
3. Flash Capsulotomy
In less than a second, CAPSULaser performs a completely circular, smooth, and continuous capsulotomy with the diameter pre-selected by the surgeon (from 4.5 to 5.5mm).
